Lauren will be found at pretty much of our events and if the main office contact. You'll generally find her at registration and then shouting your name at the finish line! A word of warning.. try not to engage in conversation.. don't look into the light..

Matt is an age group competitor who has represented GB at Worlds and European events for duathlon and triathlon and in 2009 completed his first ironman. He is the chairman of Ashurst Bike Club, the premier NW tri club!!

Les is the oldest member of our team and undoubtedly the most famous. Known simply as 'Cake Man' he is the public front for the cake making machine Margaret Laithwaite. Baking and delivering 500 home bakes scones for the Lakeland Loop is perhaps their biggest achievement so far.. His red Micra can often be seen buckling under the weight of home made cake and it acts as a magnet with competitors swarming to sample the slices..
